Everything you need to know before you stop by. Still not sure about something? Give us a call — we’re happy to help.
How does the appraisal process work?
Bring your items in and we’ll examine and test them on the spot. We’ll explain exactly what you have, weigh it in front of you, and make a fair offer based on current market prices. There’s never any obligation to sell.
Do I need an appointment?
Walk in any time during business hours, or call ahead to schedule an appointment — for large collections or estates it helps us set aside the time to do it right.
What should I bring with me?
Just your items and a valid, government-issued photo ID. Florida law requires us to record ID for precious-metal purchases. Any paperwork you have — receipts, certificates, or appraisals — is helpful but never required.
How do you decide what my items are worth?
Value is based on metal purity (karat or fineness), weight, and the current live market price — plus any added collector or numismatic value for coins and unique pieces. We show you our math so you understand exactly how we arrived at the offer.
How will I be paid?
In cash or by check — your choice — once we agree on a price. No mail-in, no holds.
What do you buy — and what don’t you?
We buy gold and silver jewelry, coins and currency, sterling flatware, fine watches, and bullion. If you’re unsure whether we’ll take something, just ask — and see the full list on our What We Buy & Sell page.
Are you licensed and trustworthy?
Yes. We’re a state-licensed, BBB-accredited, family-owned business that has served Apopka since 1984 (FL Lic. #58-8015681735-7). Three decades of repeat customers and five-star reviews are the reputation we work to protect every day.
